How do you mend a broken heart?

District Race Day at Union today...the track meet that will qualify you for the State Track Meet...you have worked all year for this day...everyone is tense...blocks are ready...concentration at it's peak....

 you are off and running...working so hard...trying your very best to qualify...your legs are feeling heavy...and so is your heart...

you have crossed the final high school finish line...heart is broken...you did not qualify, but wait...you have so much to be proud of!!!!  Total dedication for four years of high school track and winning your share of accolades.  You made it to state last year and came home with a medal...how very proud you have made me!  I love you Tara and can hardly wait to see you run as a LUTE!  I will be there on the sidelines, rooting for my favorite runner...you are at the top of my list!  What a wonderful pair of legs, great big heart, and God given beauty you have....inside and out.  You are a REAL WINNER!

Vacation in Arizona with Cousin Nicki

Nicki and Wayne's beautiful home in Arizona!

Nicki and I had many shopping trips while I was there. We bought purses that were alike (only one was black and the other grey), bracelets that matched, necklaces that matched (only the charms were different) and what was really funny......while shopping for a top we both picked the same one and didn't know until we were at the cash register! How funny! We just had to have a picture taken with our matching goodies! Thanks for all the shopping fun and memories Nicki!
