Treats at Tiah's

Last night was a fun night at Tiah's house. There were lots of treats in the making!

Beau was one of the stars on Tiah's tree.

Beau and Tinkerbell checking out the birds at the bird feeder.

Boy, Tinkerbell would love to get one of the birds!

Tiah is ready to start!

Tara is making fudge.

Oh boy, tiger bark!

Oops....we dropped the popcorn!

Wow....they are ready to dive into the Chex/Caramel Mix!

Meg's is rolling out sugar cookie dough.

Beau is decorating his wreath cookie.

The finished product.

Megan and her stocking cookie.
After I left, it started to snow and then they all went outside to sled. Wish I had been there for that one. Guess a great time was had by all.

The Chamber has gone to the dogs!

We had our annual Chamber Staff Christmas Party last night and we all ended up going to the dogs! Ha!
Leslie's dog GiGi had 8 puppies five weeks ago, and along with the three schnauzers she already has...it was a dog's world.
We had a great time, lots of laughs, good food and plenty of time to spoil the dogs!
Merry Christmas!

Tornado in Aumsville, OR

Can you believe this....a tornado in Aumsville, OR today, Dec. 14th! Wow! Just got word from Shelly that she and her family are ok!

The Junior Class from Helix High School, under the direction of Lorin Kubishta, organized, gathered sponsors, and placed 64 wreaths on the graves of veterans, December 12th, as their way of paying respect and honoring those who came before. They carefully arranged the laurels, leaning them against each headstone in the American Legion section of Olney Cemetery.

The students hope this will become a yearly tradition. they have named it "Wreaths for Remembrance."

Thank you Junior Class, Helix High School!

It's a dog's life!

It's a dog's life at my house. These two pardners in crime keep me on my toes. There are various times I make it home to find confetti all over my livingroom carpet. Hmmmmmm, I wonder if it was one of my favorite scrapbooking magazines! Well, they certainly know how to butter me up, too! Yup, Tucker and Missi are keepers. I dare to think of my Christmas decorations though. Ha!

Way to go Altrusa!

I had the honor today to present Pendleton's Altrusa Club with a check for all their hard work with our RV Camping Program at Round-Up time, which is handled through the Chamber of Commerce. Karla Lewis was (and is) a super hard worker and was my main "go to" person I delt with while sending campers her way. Once again, thank you Altrusa!

Thanks Tara for all your help!!!

Over the weekend my granddaughter, Tara, helped me get my computer/scrapbooking room in order. I could not have done it without her help! A HUGE thank you to Tara and all of her efforts to get me cleaned up and organized!

My cutie pie Missi. 4 months old and weighs in at 4.10 pounds! What a heavy weight, huh?

It was a beautiful day yesterday and our walk through the cemetery was perfect!
