Happy Birthday to Beau!!!

Happy Birthday to Beau....Happy Birthday to Beau.....Happy Birthday Dear Beau.....Happy Birthday to you!

Tara was totally overwhelmed by the whole Birthday scene!

Walle.....Beau just loves him!

Beau received this wonderful Birthday Hat from Megan. Aren't sisters just the best?!

Beau received a harmonica for his birthday and mom is trying it out for size. Great-Grandma Janice is pretty entertained!

Yes....a Transformer!

Wow...lots of presents to open!

Beau tries out the first piece of cake with all the goodies on top!

Hurry mom, before I forget my wish!

Happy Birthday.....it was so much fun to help Beau celebrate his big day last night. His selection for dinner was Tacos....very good I might add. Lots of fun, laughs, cake, presents & smiles! Oh yes, throw in a few hugs and kisses, too!

2008 Pumpkin Patch

Beau and Megs as they wait for the wagon to take them out in the field.

Tara found a "pale face" pumpkin to carve.

Megs worked hard to find a tall skinny one.

Looks like Beau found a heavy skinny one! It will look great on Halloween!

Check out all the pumpkins just waiting to be carved into something spooktacular.

How do you find the perfect one?

We are on the wagon and heading out in the field

Grandma with Megs and Beau riding in the wagon.

Tiah and Tara having fun before heading out to the field.
What a weekend...there was so much to do and it was ALL fun!!!

The Corn Maze 2008

Sunday the kiddies got to experience the Corn Maze in Hermiston. Here they are at number 10! You hunt for the markers working from 1 to 10 throughout the corn maze. Some of them are pretty hard to find!

Here the kiddies are at number 3.

All smiles as they find number 1.

Oops....Megan, you went the wrong way!

Oh no...this could be spooky! Kids....get off of there!

My favorite silly corns in the field. What a fun day!

Kiwanis Krush Tour '08

Tiah and I went on the Kiwanis Krush Tour this year. I had always wanted to do this, but never had the opportunity. Wow! What fun! You should never miss this one...'cause it is awesome! We got to meet and get to know a number of ladies from Pendleton throughout the course of the day. We began our day at the Great Pacific with a chit chat along with "brunch" then it was off to the bus and on to Walla Walla. We visited 6 wineries and had a blast. Of course, we all mellowed out as time passed and Tiah and I got to realize we liked red wine after all. No headaches the next day...what a bonus.

Cheers Tiah....we will do it again next year with Calli sue!

Tara is another year older!

Happy Birthday Tara! Now you can get your Driver's Permit! Whoo
Hoo!

Cheers to the Fifteen Year Old! Wow! I can't belive it!

Halloween Party at the Elks Lodge

We had fun last Friday at the Elks Lodge. They had a great little Haunted House for kids, with a few games and prizes. Also on the menu was Spaghetti and meatballs (green noodles), coleslaw (dyed red), Garlic Bread (tinted red with cheese made to look like a slice of meat), Fruit Lips, and a cupcake with eye balls on top. Yummmmmmmmmm!
There was a costume contest...which I won! Yea....I won a sack of candy! Beau was Darth Vader and Megs was a Whoopie Cushion. Lot of fun!

My recent vacation....

I recently took a week's vacation to Western Oregon and had a great time. This is a sunset I took at Newport. Very nice.

Of course, I enjoyed the wonderful fall colors while visiting Silver Falls by Salem.

Another shot at the beach. It was very cold and windy, but didn't seem to bother the birds on shore.

While traveling down, I stopped above Hood River at a fruit stand and captured this photo of Mt. Hood.

I had never been in a lighthouse before so I got to climb to the top of Yaquia Lighthouse and get the speel on the light and all. Quite interesting.

While in Mt. Angel, I visited the Abby. This is a photo I took of the bells. They ring at certain intervals....it was quiet, beautiful, and very moody! I loved it.
I did get to visit with my brother and his wife. They are so much fun to be around! Great times....great memories!

Homecoming at PRHS a couple of weeks ago...

Here is Tara (Freshman Class Homecoming Princess) being escorted from the car by Dave. It was soooooo cold that night! I felt very sorry for Tara without her coat and all.

I know, my photos are all out of order, but use your imagination! Here Tara is getting pretty before the game with the help of her mom and Deb! Good job!

Auntie Calli and Mom grinning through chattering teeth while watching the game.

What a beauty!

Tara and her escort Justin! Cute little couple, huh?

It was fun watching the kids at the Homecoming. It brought back so many high school memories. I do remember how important all these events were to the kids. I'm so glad I get to see all of it happening again!

Powder Puff Football !!!

Last night was Powder Puff Football at PR. Here is Tara #8 waiting on the sidelines. It was soooo cold! Brrrrrrrrrrrrrrr! The Sophomores and Seniors beat the Jrs and Frosh 1-0!

It really was fun watching the girls play!

Paige and Tara.

The "King" or should I say "Queen" is being crowned at halftime.

Here's the whole court. I think all the kids had a pretty good time.
