4th of July Fun at Calli's!

We had such a good time at Calli's during the whole day of the 4th of July! It was kind of a stormy day....lightning in the distance with thunder and heavy clouds. It did decide to rain when we were all sitting down to eat our BBQ, but it didn't last long. Here Tara is feeding the baby bird...Raegan!

Raegan had to show grandma her little train. She loves this toy!

Calli and Sonny with everyone checking out their garden. Lots of goodies are planted there. The strawberries were delicious!

Raegan is trying to figure out how to text her boyfriend! Ha! It won't be long Calli!!!!! Actually she was checking out cousin Tara's phone.

Raegan scrunches up her nose just exactly like her mother did when she was the same age. I couldn't resist taking this photo.

Time for homemade icecream. The kiddies came out of the woodwork!

During our fireworks...Chewy didn't mind the noise at all!

Beau and his sparkler!

Just what do you think these two are up to? Well, they were just lighting one sparkler off of the other!

Briley was trying to burn down the tree! No, really!!!

Kids lighting sparklers again.

They were facinated by the "snakes". I won't tell you what Briley thought they looked like, but you can just about imagine!

Tara and Calli watching the show.

Taylor setting one off!

I caught the kid's reactions as the firecrackers were going off.

Calli's neighbors launching the "Grand Finale".

Here is the Grand Finale!

Enjoying Smores after the show.

More fun.

Everyone enjoying the evening

Natural light of night time.

Thanks kiddies and neighbors for all the fun! A great 4th to remember.

Wiener of OZ.....just what can a person say about this????

The Children's Museum of Eastern Oregon held their annual "Wiener Dog Race" last Friday here in Pendleton. It has become a HUGE moneymaker for the Children's Museum. Of course, the public thoroughly enjoys the running of the wieners! This year's theme was "Wiener of OZ" and it was hysterical. How could you have a Wiener of OZ race without Dorothy and the Wicked Witch? Hmmmmmmmmm......they look a little familiar!

Could she be pointing at Toto?

Wow....the dogs even turned into witches!

Check it out....Main Street looks like Round-Up in June! People love this stuff.

This little wiener won the "Most Elegant" prize.

You can't have a wiener dog fashion show without a bun and some condiments!

This little gal won the funniest prize with her "big" dog dressed as Dorothy.

Everyone seemed to be so proud of their little dogs.

I thought this was very original.....a "Kissing Booth" with a little wiener inside covered in kisses!

Run wieners.....run!!!

This little guy gets a birds-eye view from his master's shoulders. No worrying about getting stepped on here.

This "howling" dog was the winner this year. As a matter of fact, the same dog won the races last year! Now...on to next year and the triple crown jewel!

Ending.....

Well, what can one say about this fellow?
I know he must have been so confused about many things, but he was a great entertainer. I like to remember him as he was in the 80s before he really got into all of his plastic surgery and personal problems. Yes, even though he did many, many crazy things, he was first and foremost a supurb entertainer. RIP!

We had a little "tailgate lunch".

Megan found a good one!

We found a couple of hitchhikers along the way!!! It was a fun, fun, day and we found a nice supply of the tasty things. Mmmmmm, dinner was great!

The PRINCESS Turns One!!!

Miss Raegan, aka The Princess, celebrated her first birthday on Sunday. It was a BEAUTIFUL day, full of perfect weather, wonderful food, great conversation and lots of relatives! Here Daddy is holding the guest of honor while everyone is singing "Happy Birthday"!

Calli did a wonderful job decorating Raegan's first birthday cake. Ummmmm, very delicious, too!

Here is the Princess with her regal crown before cake.

Oh boy, did she enjoy the cake or what?

Calli and Tiah check out their photos.

Grandma Trini and Her Royal Highness!

Mommie and Raegan...beautiful girls!

Daddy did a great job with the BBQd hamburgers for everyone. Yum!

Raegan's cake and presents.

Here she is...walking and having fun in the yard after her party. Look out world...she is mobile now! What a super, super day!
