Scrappin' Again!

Geez, we finally started our Recipe Classes again and it was so much fun seeing all my old friends! Thanks Melisa for doing this...getting your creative jucies flowing in order to create such wonderful pages for us and taking the time to make our kits and then actually teach the class. We appreciate you very much! It was wonderful having our class in the Pendleton Room at Hamley. Great friends, wonderful class, the most outstanding piano music playing as we had our class and also the added touch of being able to have a very nice glass of wine while scrappin'. It doesn't get much better than this!

Charlotte working on her page. Hmmmmmmmmm, she looks like she is checking something out. I didn't really get the chance to chat with her, but she will be in my Tuesday class and that will give us time to compare notes.

What can be said about Mary?!!! She is such a kick and lots of fun to be around. We sat side by side chatting, teasing and just plain having a great time. Cheers!

Kathleen looks very, very intense. Wow! I just know she is doing a perfect job with her page.....what else?!

More intensity! I'm really looking forward to our next class and especially the National Scrapbooking Day Class being put together by Melisa and Renee...oh my gosh, a whole day of wonderful, wonderful scrappin' fun!

Those Chamber Girls!!!

Alright, alright...bulldogger I'm not! It was a fun try though!

The Chamber Girls are trying their luck and perturbing this poor cow! I think we accomplished the task!

Well, we tried to do a better job with the cowboy. Hmmmmm, Yolanda, what is that in your pitchfork?! It was a beautiful, sunny, but cold morning. A fun project with fun gals! Enjoy!

Night time beauty of the snow from my front door!

I thought these photos of the trees across the road were just spectacular! With all the snow hanging on the branches the trees and bushes looked so much bigger than life. I think it is supposed to be windy tomorrow and the pretty snow will fall off the trees. So....I had to save the beauty for posterity!

Snapshots taken today!

We were driving down Main Street today and I had to snap this photo through the windshield of Hamley's Steakhouse. It was snowing like mad!

The First Christian Church was almost hidden in snow.

Beau and Megan were trying to make a snowman!

Tiah's family in the snow. Brrrrrrrrrrrr, but fun!

Beautiful, Beautiful SNOW!

Beau had a great time making angels. Of course, we think he is quite the angel himself. The snow was just PERFECT for making angels!

Beau, Tara and Megan trying out the JANUARY SNOW! Mmmmmmm, it is the best you know.
The afternoon was spent at Tiah's where we had a wonderful dinner and then watched the kids have fun in the snow. It was a very pleasant afternoon.

Brrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr!

Wow! 5 degrees this morning! I feel like I am in a deep freeze. Watching the weather report this morning, I see that my daughter in Baker City is experiencing 12 degrees below zero. I feel so sorry for her 'cause she is climatized to Palm Springs winters. Geez, what a year to move to Baker City!

Through the course of the day, I hope everyone stays warm and cozy. I plan on it! Got to watch the ice though, 'cause I have an inclination to slip and fall with my slicky soled shoes. Maybe I should put my Yak Trax on today!

We are busy, busy, busy at the Chamber with our First Citizens Banquet preparations. The banquet is this Friday evening out at Wildhorse Resort & Casino. Can hardly believe that it has been a year since the last one...time is flying by. The Chamber is decorating three tables this year! Lucky us! Sure wish we could get more table sponsorships from our members...it would lighten my load.

It will be fun to post the winners on Friday night! Check back...it will all be here on my blog!

Have a good one!
