Kiwanis Krush Tour 2009

Tiah, Calli and I went on the Kiwanis Krush Wine Tour this month. My photos are completely backward in the way we experience the whole day. In this photo Tiah and Calli are deciding whether or not to join a Wine Club at our favorite winery...and they did!!! Mmmmmm, good!

Yolanda and Lynette enjoyed the day!

This is part of the group outside Whitman Winery.

Calli won a prize on the tour bus. It was a great wine bouquet wine bottle holder! I won't tell you what Tiah won!!!! Ha!

We started that morning at the Great Pacific Wine & Coffee Co.

Dress Up Parade 2009

I love it when the flag goes by at the beginning of the parade!

Miss Raegan received lots of candy!

Giving the sad eyes so she can get more of the goods!

Here are my kiddies after the parade. Raegan even got a watermelon from one of the farms in the parade!

Beau and Briley got to ride on the Mid Co bus!

It was a nice parade, but long!!!

Megs, Tara and Beau have a YARD SALE!

Costumes galore! After they didn't sell, we decided to save most of them for Raegan to play dress-up with!

Tara getting things ready...early, before the sale started!

Beau made a terrific sign for his lemonade stand.

Megan was demonstrating how wonderful the fairy wings were...and they were only 25 cents!

Some of the stuff on sale!

Megan and Tara waiting for the next victim...oops, I mean customer.

Beau was actually making a sale!

Darn....I think he got bored or tired!

Pretty perky now...he made some great sales!
The kids did alright with their sale...and split it three ways!

Three on Three and 113 degrees!

Well, it has been a couple of weeks since the Peach Basket Classic in Walla Walla...their annual 3 On 3 Tournament. It was fun to watch Tara play, but it was a scorcher...113 on Saturday and she also played on Sunday! Whew! The spectators were drenched...and not in water!!! Here is little Raegan...trying to catch a few Zzzzs in her stroller.

Looking one way on Main Street in Walla Walla.

Catching a glimpse the other way. I was told there were 223 teams playing! Whew!

There was a huge fan set up to cool folks off, but it wasn't running all the time. Here it is actually running and a few folks are taking advantage of the cooling air. Tiah is in the shades!

Go Tara!

She was so much fun to watch!

Her team didn't fare well, but at least they got some playing time in!

Cousin's Weekend 09

Me, Nicki, Jackie and Linda as we are heading out the door, ready to begin our Cousin Adventure for 09.

On our way to Joseph, we went through Lostine and there was this cute little place called the Blue Banana. What fun!

Linda and myself acting silly in the back seat of the old VW that is making it's way through the wall of the building.

Jackie, Nicki and Linda with the Blue Banana.

Isn't it cute?!

Our first night in Joseph and this was our dinner out.
Our cabin early in the morning. Aren't the mountians just beautiful?!

Jackie and myself at the grave site of the Old Chief Joseph.

Linda on the Tram with Wallowa Lake in the background.

Here we are at the top of the tram toasting to our Cousin Weekend!

Our waitress snapped our photo for us.

Jackie and Nicki on the tram. Nicki wasn't to sure about the ride on the way up, but then enjoyed it on the way down

Here we are after we took a little hike on the top of the mountain.

Linda and Nicki resting and enjoying the scenery.

All our tootsies at Wallowa Lake.

Debbie BBQd for us on our last night at the cabin.

We were ready for our pit fire down by the Wallowa River, but needed some mosquito spray before we got started!

Sue really knows how to roast those marshmallows!

Debbie and Chrissy enjoying their smores.

This was our campire. Very relaxing and lots of cute stores went around the fire.

Linda was impersonating our waitress from our second night in Joseph. What a "cute" smile!

The Wallowa Lake Marshmallows!

Here we are by the fire on our last night at the cabin. Wow! What fun! We are all looking forward to next year and what adventures come around.
